Southernmost Attractive Mini Konkan

There are so many small and big cities in India but less are there with fresh and soothing atmosphere,unbounded natural scenario including different kinds of animals ,plants and also  with some of the bestest nature's own gifts. Chandgad has all of these specialities and many more than it. It is the small city as well as welknown tehsil in kolhapur district that comes in Indian state of Maharastra.It is at border line of Maharastra.This city connects to two more welknown states like Goa and Karnataka. We know the word Konkan very well. Konkan is like the paradise for fresh air, plants , animals, kindful people,lots of picnic spots,fruits(especially coconut, mango,cashew),also for agriculture. So Chandgad is also has all these things thats why we call Chandgad as Mini Konkan. Chandgad is place where one can get soothful living experince by listening the sounds made by birds,animals and the kindness of people.Most of the people at this place do farming.In farming Sugarcane farming,Rice Farming,Ground Nut Farming,Finger Millet Farming are mostly taken by farmers. Main part anbout the farmers is they mostly use organic fertilizers for the agriculture. This is the the why people from here are healthy,strong and long living. Also some part of the neighbour cities of Chandgad like Ajara and Gadhinglaj comes under the Mini Konkan. Ghansal  species of rice in Ajara is  famous in Asia continent. There are large number of  cashew nut factories  and sugar factories at Mini Konkan . The atmosphere at this place is best and bearable in all the three seasons. Monsoon season is very blessful for the farmers. It is the place of lots of small and big waterfalls. Due to such attractiveness about natural things this is to be known as Mini Konkan.
